Hillman Breaks School Discus Record at Day Two of Penn Relays

The Dover, Del. native finished ninth in the discus throw. Her 52.42 meter combined score breaks her own personal and school record she set earlier in the season. Her previous best was 52.28 meters set earlier this season.
Hillman was the final competitor of the weekend, because head coach Wendy McFarlane-Smith decided to withdraw from the 4x400 relay, despite the squad qualifying for the ECAC finals. The coach decided to hold back the squad ahead of next week's Colonial Athletic Association Championships.
The Penn Relays served as the final tune-up ahead of the CAA Championships where Delaware will serve as the host school.
