No. 3 Blue Hens Hold on for 5-3 Win Against No. 8 Princeton

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware came out strong and put the finishing touches on in the last minutes as the No. 3 Blue Hens defeated No. 8 Princeton, 5-3, at Fred P. Rullo Stadium Sunday afternoon.
Juniors Kiki Bink (Wageningen, The Netherlands/RSG Pantarijn) and Greta Nauck (at left; Krefeld, Germany/Gymnasium am Moltekeplatz) each tallied two goals for Delaware, which improves to 3-1 on the year.Senior Taylor Lister (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) added three assists for the Hens. Lister, who had 11 assists last season, has now recorded seven in the past two contests.
Freshman Femke Strien (IJsselstein, The Netherlands/Cals College Nieuwegein) also contributed a goal while redshirt senior Kayla Devlin (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) notched two assists and a defensive save.
Senior goalie Emmeline Oltmans (Baarn, The Netherlands/Het Baarnsch Lyceum) collected three saves for her second win of the season.
Julianna Tornetta posted two goals for the Tigers (0-2) while Grace Baylis tallied fives saves in the cage.

· Princeton outshot Delaware, 14-12, and held an 8-5 advantage in penalty corners.
· The Blue Hens are now 15-13-3 all-time against the Tigers and have won four of the last five over Princeton.
· Greta Nauck has moved into a tie for fifth in program history with 115 career points alongside Casey Howard (2005-09).
· With 49 career goals, Greta Nauck has also moved into fourth all-time in the Delaware record books.
· Taylor Lister (at right) is now sixth for the Blue Hens with 26 career assists.
