Greta Nauck and Femke Strien Sweep CAA Field Hockey Weekly Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – The No. 3 Blue Hens swept the CAA Field Hockey Weekly honors following a 2-0 weekend with wins over Dartmouth and No. 8 Princeton.
Junior Greta Nauck (Krefeld, Germany/Gymnasium am Moltekeplatz) brought home Player of the Week accolades for the fourth time in her career while freshman Femke Strien (IJsselstein, The Netherlands/Cals College Nieuwegein) picked up her first-ever Rookie of the Week award.
Nauck tallied four goals in two games and in the process moved into fourth all-time in the Delaware record books with 49 career goals. She also moved into a tie for fifth in program history with 115 career points.
Strien collected her first career goal Friday and followed with a goal and assist Sunday.
The Hens return to action Friday with a 3:30 p.m. contest at Penn before traveling to Liberty Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup.
