Annual Delaware Football Alumni Golf Outing and BBQ Set for Apr. 20

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware football program is steeped in a rich tradition of excellence, both on and off the field. That tradition is made special by the people who dedicated countless hours over the years to the programs, from coaches to student-athletes to staff members.
Plenty of memories are shared when all those people gather together and once again, the University of Delaware Athletic Department welcomes football alumni and family back to the annual Football Alumni Golf Outing, slated for Friday, April 20th.
The golf outing will be held at Newark Country Club with registration and breakfast at 9 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m.
Following the golf outing, there will be a BBQ at the Dave Nelson Athletics Complex, adjacent to Delaware Stadium. The BBQ event will begin at 5 p.m.
