Kehoe Takes Home CAA Offensive Player of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – There has been thousands of student-athletes who have worn the University of Delaware football jersey over its storied history.
Redshirt junior Pat Kehoe joined elite company this past weekend, becoming only the 17th player in program history to throw for 300 yards as he led the Blue Hens to a thrilling 40-36 victory over 10th-ranked Towson on Saturday afternoon.
Kehoe finished 18-of-32 for 305 yards and four TDs, including ushering a game-winning two-minute drive in the fourth quarter. For his play, Kehoe was named CAA Offensive Player of the Week.
The Madison, Conn. native is the first Delaware QB to win the award since Tim Donnelly in 2011.
On the year, Kehoe is 107-for-200 with 1,664 yards passing, including 17 TDs and just five interceptions. He currently ranks eighth in the country with 15.6 yards per completion and 16thin passing TDs thrown.
Kehoe and the Blue Hens have another road test this weekend against the Great Danes of the University of Albany. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
