Hens Cruise to 8-1 Victory Against James Madison to Advance to Sixth Straight CAA Championship Match

With three goals against the Dukes, Nauck posted a hat trick in back-to-back games for the first time in her career. She added three assists for a total of nine points, which is good for second in Blue Hens single-game history.
JMU (6-12) opened the game with a goal from Ongeziwe Mali in the fourth minute, but the Hens rallied and recorded eight unanswered tallied to collect the win to improve to 13-6 on the year.
Tessa Verweijen, the CAA Rookie of the Year, finished the game with three points on her seventh goal and fourth assist of the year.
Senior Sydney Rhodes collected five saves for the Blue Hens, who will face either second-seeded William & Mary or third-seeded Northeastern in Sunday's championship match at 1 p.m.
Caitlin Nelson and Kyler Zampiello combined for five saves in the cage for the Dukes.
