Nichols Has Solid Showing at NFL Combine

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The rest of the country is finding out what most Blue Hens fans and followers of CAA Football have known for quite some time now, Bilal Nichols is legit.
After standing out at both the East West Shrine Game and the Reese's Senior Bowl, Nichols had a solid showing at this past weekend's NFL Combine.
He ran the second fastest 40-yard dash time for a defensive lineman, clocking in at 4.95.
The Newark, Del. native measured in at 6-4, 306 pounds with 33 3/8” arms and 10 ¼” hands.
Nichols' day ended with 29 reps of 225 pounds in the bench press, which was the ninth-best performance by a defensive lineman.
His next performance will come at University of Delaware's pro day on March 19th.
