Pilkington and Komer Tabbed CAA Doubles Team of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Sophomore Brooke Pilkington (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) and junior Sara Komer (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) collected their third CAA Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week accolades Tuesday.
The duo went 2-0 this past week and have garnered eight straight wins after defeating Towson, 6-4, and Mount St. Mary's, 6-1.
Pilkington and Komer are currently tied for fourth in Delaware single season history with 20 victories this year. Additionally, the pair are tied for fourth in program history with 28 career doubles wins.
The Blue Hens finished regular season play with an overall record of 12-5 while going 3-1 in conference action to receive the highest-ever seeding in the CAA Tournament in program history. Delaware, the No. 3 seed, will play at 1 p.m. Friday with quarterfinals action against No. 6 College of Charleston at Elon University.
