Pilkington and Komer Capture All-Conference Doubles and Singles Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – The Blue Hens pulled in multiple accolades Wednesday as the Colonial Athletic Association announced its annual women's tennis honors.
For the second straight season, sophomore Brooke Pilkington (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) was an All-CAA Singles First Team honoree while junior Sara Komer (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) was a Second Team pick.
Pilkington led Delaware with an overall record of 21-7 while going 14-3 in top-flight singles action, including a 3-1 tally in conference play.
Komer was a perfect 4-0 in the CAA with an overall mark of 19-9 while going 13-4 in No. 2 singles.
The pair also garnered All-CAA Doubles First Team distinction, the first for the Blue Hens since 2005-06. Pilkington and Komer finished the year fourth in program single-season history with 21 doubles victories, including a 4-0 mark in conference action.
