Seven Blue Hens to Play Summer Ball

NEWARK, Del. -- Seven University of Delaware baseball players are hitting the road for summer ball, as Winston Allen, Chance DiFebbo, Joey Haass, Zack Miller, Matt Ryan, Vinny Vaccone and Ben Werkheiser will all play in various leagues up and down the east coast.
The Blue Hens will be well represented in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL) as Allen (Jersey Pilots), DiFebbo (Quakertown Blazers), Ryan (Jersey Pilots) and Werkheiser (Quakertown Blazers) have all committed to play this summer.
A pair of freshman will take their talents to Perfect Game Summer League as Haass and Miller have joined the Geneva Red Wings for the summer.
For the second consecutive season, Vaccone will play for the Danbury Westerners of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
