Blue Hens Duo Sweep CAA Weekly Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware swept this week's Colonial Athletic Association field hockey awards for the second time this season as senior Greta Nauck earned the title of Player of the Week and Pia Freudenberger took home Rookie of the Week honors.
Nauck finished week play with eight points after tallying two goals and an assist over Richmond before posting a goal and assist against No. 5 Princeton. The forward is active NCAA career leader in points (173) and goals (74) and currently ranks 13th nationally with 2.33 points per game.
Freudenberger collected three points over the week, including an assist against the No. 5 Tigers. The forward also scored a goal versus Richmond. Freudenberger leads all Delaware freshmen and is third overall on the team with six points on two goals and two assists.
The pair previously earned Player and Rookie of the Week honors on August 28.
The No. 15 Blue Hens travel to No. 24 Albany this Sunday with a 1 p.m. scheduled passback.
