Delaware Basketball Announces 10-Game Television Package for Conference Season

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware Athletics has announced a 10-game basketball package to be showcased on television partner channels during the upcoming Colonial Athletic Association schedule.
For the second straight year Delaware Athletics has secured agreements with regional affiliates NBC Sports Philadelphia, NBC Sports Washington, SportsNet New York (SNY) and COZI TV, Delmarva's NBC affiliate in Rehoboth Beach, to produce live broadcasts over the next two months.
This year's package includes six Blue Hen men's games, three women's games, and the 2019 CAA Women's Basketball Championship Game which will be held at the Bob Carpenter Center.
Thursday, Jan. 3: Delaware men vs. William & Mary – 7 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 3: Delaware women vs. James Madison – 7 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 13: Delaware women vs. Drexel – 2 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 17: Delaware men vs. James Madison – 7 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 19: Delaware men vs. Towson – 7 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 26: Delaware men vs. Drexel – 2 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 10: Delaware women at Drexel – 5 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 14: Delaware men at Towson – 7 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 23: Delaware men at Drexel – 5 p.m.
Saturday, Mar. 16: CAA Women's Basketball Championship Game (Newark, Del.) – 1 p.m.
NBC Sports Philadelphia and Washington reach over six million viewers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, D.C. and Delaware. SNY reaches 12 million nationally and is available to viewers throughout New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and northeastern Pennsylvania, and nationally on DIRECTV, Verizon FiOS, Comcast Cable, and AT&T U-Verse. COZI TV can be seen throughout the Delmarva area in southern Delaware and eastern Maryland.
In addition to the linear broadcasts, the Delaware men's basketball squad will be featured on the CAA men's basketball "Game of the Week" digital package that will be available on CollegeSportsLive.com. The Blue Hens' road game at Elon on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. and the home game vs. Hofstra on Saturday, Mar. 2 at 4 p.m. will be part of that package.
Additionally, CBS Sports Network will televise the CAA Men's Basketball Tournament semifinals on Monday, Mar. 11, and the championship game the following night.
Al Delaware men's and women's basketball home games will continue to be streamed live on bluehens.com.
