Femke Strien Garners All-ECAC Accolades

DANBURY, Conn. – The awards keep rolling in for Delaware junior Femke Strien as the forward was named Thursday to the All-ECAC Team.
She is the 11th Blue Hen to receive the honors since 2004.
Strien, the 2019 CAA Player of the Year and NFHCA All-American selection, finished the year fourth in Delaware single-season history with 45 points (17g, 11a). The IJsselstein, The Netherlands native ranked seventh nationally with 2.25 points per game and 10th with 0.85 goals per.
A four-time CAA Player of the Week, Strien was the lone conference player to earn the honor more than once this season.
