Delaware Earns Eighth Straight NFHCA National Academic Team Award

GILBERT, Ariz. – The Blue Hens field hockey team is well-known around the country for their success on the field, and their achievements off the field has been just as impressive.

Through hard work, strong leadership and determination, Delaware has once again been nationally recognized for their exceptional academic success.

For the eighth straight year, the Hens were named a ZAG/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award recipient. This honor is awarded to institutions who achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2018-19 academic calendar. Delaware finished the semester with a 3.44 GPA.

Overall, the Blue Hens were one of 76 total Division teams who earned the National Academic Team Award.
