Balanced Effort Leads Hens to 70-57 Win at Towson

TOWSON, Md. – A 27-point fourth quarter sparked Delaware to its third straight win as the Hens topped Towson, 70-57, Thursday evening at SECU Arena.
The Blue Hens (16-13, 11-6 CAA), who trailed by one entering the fourth quarter, outscored the Tigers, 27-13, in the final stanza and are now tied with Towson (17-11, 11-6 CAA) for third in the Colonial Athletic Association with one game remaining in the regular season.
Makeda Nicholas led Delaware with 15 points, six rebounds and three assists while Alison Lewis tallied 14 points, five rebounds and two assists.
Jasmine Dickey, who missed the previous seven games with a broken hand, returned to the floor where she led Catonsville High School to the 2017 Maryland state title to collect eight points and three rebounds in 11 minutes of action.
