Delaware in 13th Place Following First Day of Wofford Invitational

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Delaware men's golf team sits in 13th place following Monday's two rounds at the Wofford Invitational.
The Blue Hens carded team rounds of 309 and 291 to finish the day in 13th place out of 16 squads with a 600 total. Furman leads the field with a 561 score, followed by Austin Peay at 570 and Wofford at 571.
Jack Melville fired a one over par 74-71-145 on the par 72, 6,648-yard Country Club of Spartanburg course, ending the day in a tie for 19th place.
Nick Vecellio (76-75-151), RJ Wren (74-77-151) and Roberto Nieves (77-74-151) are each tied for 51st place at seven over par.
Matt Pulgini is tied for 63rd place with a nine over par 84-69-153, while Cole Alibozek sits in 87th place with a 24 over par 88-80-168.
The final round of the tournament will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
