Blue Hens Trio Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Accolades

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association recently honored three Blue Hens for their success in the classroom.
Blaise Casselbury, who graduated cum laude in June with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, is the first-ever University of Delaware student-athlete to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors in each of his four seasons as a Blue Hen.
He was joined on the list by rising seniors Laurenz Lankes and Luis Marcano. Lankes garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete status for the third straight season while Marcano collected ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades for the second time in his career.
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a student-athlete must be a varsity letter winner, have a GPA of at least 3.50 and have completed at least two semesters at their present school.
