Blue Hen Women’s Golf Announces 2019 Fall Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's golf team will compete in four tournaments and will again host the Lady Blue Hen Invitational as UD's fall schedule was announced Thursday.
The Blue Hens, led by ninth-year head coach Patty Post, open the campaign at the Golfweek Progarm Challenge at Caledonia Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Sept. 8-10. Delaware will then compete in the Golfweek Conference Challenge at Red Sky Golf Course in Vail, Colo. on Sept. 23-25.
The Blue Hens then head to the Yale Invitational at the Course at Yale in New Haven, Conn. on Oct. 4-6. For the seventh consecutive year, Delaware will conclude its fall season by hosting the Lady Blue Hen Invitational at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del. on Oct. 19-20.
Senior Ariane Klotz and junior Thitaree Sakulbunpanich, who each earned first team All-CAA accolades and shared Team MVP honors last season, are both back to lead the Blue Hens. Klotz was UD's top finisher in five tournaments, and set a single season program record by averaging 73.63 shots per round. Sakulbunpanich produced a 73.70 average round, and set UD records with a single round 65 and three-round 207 while tying for first place at the Edisto Island Invitational.
