Offense Ignited in 80-59 Victory Over Hofstra

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware captured its first Colonial Athletic Association victory in exciting fashion as the Blue Hens topped Hofstra, 80-59, at the Bob Carpenter Center Friday evening.
In total, four Hens scored in double digits while six recorded at least four rebounds.
Sophomore Jasmine Dickey led the way by tying a career-high with 21 points while adding a season-best 16 rebounds for her sixth double double of the season.
Juniors Lizzie Oleary and Kayla Shaw joined graduate student Nicole Enabosi with 12 points apiece.
Shaw dished out her first career assist for Delaware on the team's first basket and finished the day with five.

· The Blue Hens are now 61-12 all-time against Hofstra, including a 35-1 mark in Newark, and have won 20 of the last 23 over the Pride.
· Delaware's 80 points is the best in regulation for the Blue Hens this season; it is also the most for the Hens since scoring 78 at Hofstra on January 18, 2019.
· With one 3-point field goal versus the Pride, Abby Gonzales became the first Blue Hen to collect 300-plus assists and 150-plus 3-point field goals in her career.
· With 1,412 career points, Nicole Enabosi moved into 10th place on Delaware's all-time scoring list.
· Abby Gonzales collected a career-best nine rebounds.
· Rebecca Lawrence is seventh all-time with 116 career blocked shots.
