Nieves Tied for Individual lead, Blue Hens 12th After Second Day of Loyola Intercollegiate

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Roberto Nieves is tied for the individual lead while the Delaware men's golf team is tied for 12th place on Sunday following the second round of the Loyola Intercollegiate.
Nieves, who carded a five under par 67 on Saturday, fired a one under par 71 Sunday on the par 72, 7,015-yard course at Palm Valley Golf Club. He and Joseph Crisostomo of Air Force are tied for first place at six under par 138, while two players are one shot back.
Matt Pulgini is tied for 36th place at the tournament with a two over par 70-76-146 while RJ Wren, who is playing as an individual, is tied for 68th place with a six over par 77-73-150.
Hugo Kedzlie is tied for 77th place with a seven over par 78-73-151, Jack Melville is tied for 92nd place with a nine over par 80-73-153, and Michal Bargenda sits in 110th place with a 14 over par 82-76-158.
The Blue Hens have posted team rounds of 295 and 293 at the invitational and are tied for 12th place out of 19 squads with a 588 score. Drake leads the field at 568, while Loyola is one shot back.
The final round of the tournament will begin at 7:45 local time on Monday.
