ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Blue Hens suffered their second loss of the season Sunday afternoon with their 7-0 defeat to Navy at the Tose Family Tennis Center.
Delaware forced three three-set singles matches, but the Mids prevailed to sweep play.
In No. 1 singles, Eliza Askarova battled but eventually fell to Kayla Hodge, 6-4, 5-7, 12-10.
Isabella Montana picked up the first set of No. 2 singles, 7-6 (8), but Casey Accola countered with 7-5 and 10-7 sets of her own for the win.
In No. 5 singles, Sarah Whited dropped the 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 match to Aimee Dervishian.
