NEWARK, Del. – The season may have been cut short, but the impact of the young Blue Hens on the University of Delaware men's lacrosse program was definitely felt.
Two of those young Blue Hens were honored for their play with Tate Wasson and Mike Robinson both earning Freshman All-American honors this week.
Wasson started every game on the defensive unit that ranked in the top-10 in the country in scoring defense, while Robinson was second in the nation in goals per game by a freshman (2.83).
It's the second straight year that the Blue Hens have been represented with Tye Kurtz earning accolades last spring.
