NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's program has added East Carolina transfer Logan Curtis, Blue Hen head coach Martin Ingelsby announced Friday.
Curtis, a 6-3 guard from Baltimore, Md., recently completed his freshman season with the Pirates. He will sit out the 2020-21 season and then have three years of eligibility with the Blue Hens.
Curtis appeared in 21 games for ECU, averaging 1.6 points and 0.6 rebounds while playing seven minutes per contest. He scored 18 points against James Madison on Nov. 30, when he buried six three-pointers to go with a season-high three assists. He scored five points and grabbed a season-best three rebounds in the season opener vs. VMI, and also finished with five points against Rice.
Curtis, who graduated from Calvert Hall College High School, was named to the 2018-19 MIAA All-A Conference Team, and earned second team All-Baltimore Catholic League honors as a senior after receiving honorable mention accolades the previous year.
"We are very excited to announce the addition of Logan Curtis to the Blue Hen basketball family," Ingelsby said. "Logan is an athletic guard who knows how to play and has the ability to be a lockdown defender. He will use this upcoming season as a year to grow on and off the court while getting acclimated to our system and style of play."
