Antonio and Selling Named CSCAA Scholar All-Americans

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) has recognized sophomore Jessica Antonio and freshman Mira Selling as Scholar All-Americans for the 2019-20 season. Â

It marks the first time in program history that the Blue Hens have had student-athletes names to the prestigious list.

Antonio was a standout on the diving board all season long for Delaware, finishing in sixth-place in the 3-meter dive at the CAA Championships. She had six individual victories throughout the regular season between the 1 and 3-meter competitions.

Selling became the program's first CAA Rookie of the Year after a breakout performance at the CAA Championship when she reached the podium three times over the weekend. Selling brought home the silver medal and set the school record in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.73. She also placed second in the 200 butterfly and grabbed bronze in the 500 freestyle.

The announcement comes just a week after the CSCAA names both the Blue Hens men's and women's programs to the Scholar All-America teams.
