» Delaware men's and women's swimming and diving teams open the 2021-22 season on the road at UMBC where they will also compete against Johns Hopkins.

» The Blue Hens return 23 student-athletes on the men's side and 24 student-athletes on the women's side. The squad also welcomes nine newcomers on the men's team and eight on the women's team.

» Bryce Ciecko is among those returning and he earned a first-place finish in the 500 free at the 2021 CAA Championships with a time of 4:27.89.

» On the women's side, Mira Selling is back after finishing first in the 200 Free (1:47.29) and the 200 Fly (1:59.61) at the championship meet.

» Last season, the women's squad placed fourth at the CAA Championships with Julia Servas earning the CAA Rookie Diver of the Year nod, while the men finished fifth.
