Men's Tennis Preview: ITA Atlantic Regionals

» The Delaware men's tennis team returns to the court on Thursday, making the short trip to Annapolis, Maryland for the ITA Regionals. The four-day tournament will be held at the U.S. Naval Academy.

» Four Blue Hens will be in action as Luis Molina, Guilherme Valdoleiros, Pascal Wagemaker and James Wilkinson will all be competing in the 103-person singles main draw.

» Valdoleiros will be the first Blue Hen in action with a first-round match at noon on Thursday. Molina, Wagemaker and Wilkinson all earned byes into the second round and will await their first opponents later Thursday afternoon.

» In doubles, the duos of Molina and Wilkinson as well as Valdoleiros and Wagemaker are among the 51 teams competing. Molina and Wilkinson earned a bye into the second round.

» Matches will be played up to the semifinal round in the doubles draw, while singles will compete up to the quarterfinal round. Players advancing to those selected rounds will qualify for the ITA Super Regional Championship that will be hosted at Old Dominion from October 22-25.
