» Delaware is set to hit I-95 south and travel 58 miles Friday to face the CAA defending champions, Towson, in a weekend conference series showdown. This will mark the 89th and 90th all-time meetings between the two teams.

» The Blue Hens are looking to use the momentum from last weekend's sweep of Charleston in efforts of helping their cause in climbing the CAA standings.

» For the third time this season, Lani Mason was named the CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Blue Hens in kills during the two games played against the Cougars.

» The last time Delaware and Towson met was during the abbreviated 2020-21 spring season, when the Tigers swept the season series to extend their current winning streak to eight games against the Blue Hens.

» When playing the Tigers in the confines of Secu Arena, the Blue & Gold hold a 22-19 road mark. Towson holds the all-time series lead, 40-48.

» Delaware is looking to add its name to the list of teams that upset the defending champs. Hofstra, Elon and Charleston all split their two-game series against the Tigers.

» After sweeping William & Mary last weekend, Towson is in a three-way tie with James Madison and Northeastern, vying for the top spot in league standings (7-3).
