» Delaware enters the weekend ranked No. 9 in the STATS Perform FCS Top 25 Poll and No. 10 in the AFCA Coaches' FCS Top 25 Poll. The Blue Hens have been ranked as high as No. 5 in both polls.

» Saturday will mark the third-straight season that Delaware has made the trip to play Rhode Island on the road. In 2019, the Blue Hens defeated the Rams 44-36 in an epic three-overtime battle. Pat Kehoe passed for 282 yards and five touchdowns, while Andre Robinson rushed for 111 yards and a score. This past spring, Delaware came away with a 35-21 victory behind 221 rushing yards and two touchdowns from Dejoun Lee.

» Saturday marks Delaware's third CAA conference game of the season. The Blue Hens have won six-straight games in conference play including last week's win over UAlbany and a season-opening victory at Maine.

» Dejoun Lee has surpassed 100 yards rushing in two-consecutive games, going for 127 yards at Rutgers and 112 against UAlbany. He now has five career games of at least 100 yards on the ground. For his career, Lee sits at 1,989 rushing yards and is just 11 yards away from becoming the 17th Blue Hen all-time to eclipse 2,000 rushing yards in his career.

» Rhode Island is off to its first 4-0 start in 20 years, and sits at 2-0 in CAA play after a 27-20 overtime victory over visiting Stony Brook last weekend. The Rams are ranked No. 18 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll, and are No. 20 in the AFCA FCS Poll.

» Saturday will be the 32nd all-time meeting between the two programs, with the Bue Hens holding a 22-9 series lead. Delaware has one of each of the last two matchups, and five of the past seven. The Blue Hens are 10-5 in Kingston.
