Blue Hens in Fourth Place After First Day of Mercer Invitational

MACON, Ga. – The Delaware women's golf team sits in fourth place following Monday's opening two rounds of the Mercer Invitational.
The Blue Hens fired team rounds of 305 and 298 to end the day in fourth place out of 11 squads with a 603 total. The host Bears lead the field with a 592 score.
Oihana Etxezarreta is tied for ninth place among individuals with a five over par 76-73=149 on the par 72, 6,171-yard Brickyard Golf Course, while Anna Kittelson (76-74=150) and Alisa Khokhlova (73-77=150) are each tied for 13th place at six over par.
Lilia Henkel, playing as an individual, is tied for 34th place with a 10 over par 76-78=154. Christina Carroll carded an 11 over par 80-75=155 to end the day tied for 41st place, while Lexi Dart recorded a 13 over par 81-76=157 to finish the day tied for 47th place.
The final round of the tournament will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
