Delaware Ties For Third at Season-Ending Mercer Invitational

MACON, Ga. – The Delaware women's golf team concluded its 2021 fall season by tying for third place at the Mercer Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

The Blue Hens fired a 299 score during Tuesday's final round to tie for third place out of 11 squads with a 902 total. Mercer won the team title at 882, Georgia Southern finished second at 891, while the Blue Hens finished tied with Seminole State.

UD freshman Alisa Khokhlova carded an even par 72 during her third round on the par 72, 6,171-yard Brickyard Golf Course, tying for eighth place with a six over par 73-77-72=222.

Oihana Etxezarreta tied for 13th place at the tournament with an eight over par 76-73-75=224. Lexi Dart, who carded an 81-76-74=231, and Anna Kittelson, who shot a 76-74-81=231, each tied for 34th place at 15 over par.

Lilia Henkel, who played as an individual, tied for 42nd place with a 17 over par 76-78-79=233, while Christina Carroll also tied for 42nd place with an 80-75-78=233.
