Women's Basketball Game Preview: Columbia

» 12 years to the exact date, Delaware will travel to New York and play at Columbia on Thursday. This will be the third time both programs will be meeting.

» The Blue Hens will be looking to extend their winning streak to six after capturing the 72-63 win against Chicago State last Saturday to conclude the FIU Thanksgiving Classic in Miami.

» The last time Columbia hit the hardwood was last Sunday against Rider, where the Lions outlasted the Broncos 63-60 to close out the Christmas City Classic at Lehigh University.

» The Blue & Gold will look to avenge the last time they met the Lions during the 2009-10 season, where Columbia won 75-63 on their home floor on Dec. 2, 2009.

» Jasmine Dickey took home CAA Player of the Week accolades for the second-straight week after putting together a memorable two-game performance at the FIU Thanksgiving Classic in Miami last week. She poured in a career-best 48 points against Eastern Michigan (Nov. 26) to sit second in program history in points scored in a single game and eclipse Elena Delle Donne's previous mark of 42 points scored at Hofstra back on Feb. 16, 2012. Dickey's career afternoon landed her a spot on ESPN Sportscenter Top 10 plays as the Bonus #1 play. She followed by posting her third double-double of the season (23 points, 10 rebounds) against Chicago State (Nov. 27).

» This season, Dickey posted her fourth consecutive 30-plus point game performance and currently sits 12 in program history with 1,398 career points. She currently leads the nation in points per game (28.6), final points (200) and field goal attempts (174).

» After going undefeated in two consecutive games last week and as of Nov. 30, Delaware earned a ranking as high as No. 16 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll.
