Carroll in 10th Place, Blue Hens 11th After Second Day of Kiawah Island Classic

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Blue Hen freshman Christina Carroll is tied for 10th place among individuals while the Delaware women's golf team is tied for 11th following Monday's round at the Kiawah Island Classic.

The Blue Hens, who fired a 300 score on Sunday, carded a 306 on Monday and are tied for 11th place out of 41 squads with a 606 total. Dallas Baptist holds a commanding lead with a 569 score, while Northern Illinois is second at 587.

Carroll shot a three over par 75 on the par 72, 5,958-yard Oak Point course, and is tied for 10th place at the tournament with a one over par 70-75-145.

Oihana Etxezarreta is tied for 70th place with a nine over par 77-76-153, while Lexi Dart is tied for 89th place with an 11 over par 75-80-155.

Lene Sperling is tied for 134th place with a 15 over par 78-81-159 while Anna Kittelson, who tied Carroll for the low round by a Blue Hen on Monday, is tied for 145th place with a 16 over par 85-75-160.

The final round of the invitational will take place on Tuesday.
