Etxezarreta Sixth, UD Eighth Following First Day of Pinetree Women’s Collegiate

KENNESAW, Ga. – Blue Hen freshman Oihana Etxezarreta sits in sixth place while Delaware is eighth following Monday's opening two rounds of the Pinetree Women's Collegiate.
Etxezarreta fired a one over par 75-70-145 on the par 72, 6,203-yard Pinetree Country Club course to end the day sixth among individuals. Her second round featured six birdies, including three in a row on the first three holes of the course.
Lexi Dart carded a nine over par 80-73-153 to finish Monday's action in 33rd place, while Christina Carroll is tied for 34th with a 10 over par 82-72-154.
Liz Coffren is tied for 56th place with an 18 over par 84-78-162, while Anna Kittelson sits in 58th place with a 21 over par 81-84-165. Siena Ferrick, playing as an individual, is tied for 61st place with a 26 over par 89-81-170.
Delaware recorded team rounds of 318 and 293 to finish the day in eighth place out of 10 squads with a 611 total. Fifth-ranked Florida State leads the way at 576, while Kennesaw State is five shots back.
The final round of the tournament will take place on Tuesday.
