Blue Hens Compete on Opening Day of CAA Diving Championships

NEWARK, Del. – Five freshmen divers for the University of Delaware women's diving team competed on the 3-meter board on the opening day of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Diving Championships on Friday at Rawstrom Natatorium.
After a solid morning performance in the prelims, freshmen Julia Servas and Rowan O'Sullivan made it to the A-Final. O'Sullivan finished as the top scorer for Delaware, compiling a total of 261.20 to place fifth overall. Servas finished right behind her classmate with a sixth-place score of 255.10.
Ella Drazek made her championship debut and won the consolation final with a score of 242.30, while Jenna Loquercio (221.35) and Jordan Campbell (218.60) placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
The Blue Hens return to action tomorrow with the 1-meter prelims beginning at 10:30 a.m. and the finals commencing at 5 p.m.
