Blue Hens Eighth Following First Day of UNF Collegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of Delaware women's golf team sits in eighth place following Monday's opening two rounds at the UNF Collegiate.
The Blue Hens carded scores of 308 and 306 on Monday to end the day in eighth place out of 17 teams with a 614 total. Tournament host North Florida leads the way with a 588 score, while Sam Houston State is two shots back.
Christina Carroll and Lexi Dart each fired a seven over par 75-76-151 on the par 72, 5,926-yard Jacksonville Golf and Country Club course to finish the day in a tie for 21st place.
Oihana Etxezarreta is tied for 32nd place with a 10 over par 79-75-154, while Anna Kittelson is tied for 54th place with a 14 over par 79-79-158. Lene Sperling, who shot a 25 over par 85-84-169, is tied for 89th place among individuals.
The final round of the tournament will begin with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.
