Wes Peterson Signs National Letter of Intent with Blue Hens

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware men's basketball head coach Martin Ingelsby announced Wednesday that Wes Peterson has signed a National Letter of Intent with the UD program and will begin competing for the Blue Hens next fall.
Peterson, a 6-6 guard from Arlington, Va., averaged 16.1 points per game as a junior at Bishop O'Connell High School in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. His senior season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We are very excited to announce the addition of Wes Peterson to our Blue Hen basketball family," Ingelsby said. "Wes is a talented, versatile guard with a blossoming skill set and a high basketball IQ. He excelled on the basketball court and in the classroom at Bishop O'Connell High School, and we feel he is ready to make an immediate impact with our team when he arrives on campus this summer."
