RICHMOND, Va. – The Colonial Athletic Association announced its yearly swimming and diving awards Friday with Delaware freshman Julia Servas earning Women's Rookie Diver of the Year honors.

It marks back-to-back years that the Blue Hens have had a rookie honored as Mira Selling claimed Rookie Swimmer of the Year in 2019-20. Â
Â
Servas earned a fifth-place finish in the 1-meter dive at the CAA Championships to cap-off her rookie campaign. She began her freshman year by winning her first event in the 1-meter and won the event in all three of the season's dual meets. Â
Â
She also placed inside the top-three in the 3-meter in all three duals, including a pair of runner-ups.
Â
She is the first Delaware diver in program history to be named Rookie Diver of the Year.
