Grant and Robinson Named Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-Americans

NEWARK, Del. - Junior Owen Grant and sophomore Mike Robinson of the Delaware men's lacrosse team both received Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American recognition on Thursday night.
Grant was named to the second team, while Robinson earned honorable mention recognition.
Grant has been a standout performer on the defensive end for the Blue Hens in his third year with the program. The Newmarket, Ontario, native not only leads his team and the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in caused turnovers (21), but also ranks first in all of Division I in caused turnovers per game (3.50). He additionally sits inside the top-50 nationally in ground balls per game (4.33).
Robinson has asserted himself as one of the top scorers in the CAA during his sophomore campaign. He currently ranks first in the conference and is tied for first in the nation in goals (33). The Peterborough, Ontario, native additionally is first on the team and second in the league in points (38). He has recorded a hat trick in all seven games he played in this season and has scored in each of his 13 career outings.

Grant, Robinson, and the No. 12 Blue Hens return to play on Saturday when they host Drexel for a noon CAA tilt at Delaware Stadium. Drexel is receiving votes in the USILA Coaches Poll and Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.Â
