» Delaware is 1-3 to start the season. The Blue Hens hit the road for two consecutive road matches for the first time this season. The Blue Hens play at UMBC on Thursday night and then at Liberty on Sunday at 6 p.m..

» Thursday will be the 16th all-time meeting between Delaware and UMBC. Last time out in 2010, the Blue Hens defeated UMBC 2-1 on the road. Delaware has won the last three meetings against the Retrievers dating back to 2003.

» UMBC is 1-0-1 to start the season. The Retrievers beat Robert Morris 3-1 to open the season with a win. Last weekend, UMBC drew a 1-1 tie in double OT against Towson. Juliana Rafaniello has two goals and one assist on the season to lead UMBC in scoring. UMBC has used two different goalkeepers in the next - Isy Davy and Morgan McGruder.

» D'Appolonia, Claudia Benz, and Anna Diffendal lead the team in goals with one apiece. Diffendal leads the team in points with three.
