Blue Hens 10th Following First Day of Golfweek Fall Challenge

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – The University of Delaware women's golf team sits in 10th place following Sunday's opening round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge.

The Blue Hens carded a 298 score to finish the day in 10th place out of 20 squads. Campbell leads the field at 280, while Jacksonville State is second with a 285 total.

Christina Carroll fired a one over par 72 on the par 71, 6,032-yard Caledonia Golf & Fish Club course to end the day in a tie for 13th place among individuals. Alisa Khokhlova is tied for 23rd place with a two over par 73, while Lexi Dart is tied for 43rd place with a four over par 75.

Oihana Etxezarreta carded a seven over par 78 to finish the day tied for 65th place, while Lilia Henkel is tied for 73rd place with a nine over par 80.

The second round of the three-day tournament will be held on Monday.
