Carroll Ties for Fifth Place, Blue Hens Finish Sixth at Golfweek Fall Challenge

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – Christina Carroll tied for fifth place while the Delaware women's golf team moved up two spots into sixth as the Blue Hens wrapped up play at the Golfweek Fall Challenge on Tuesday.
Carroll carded an even par 71 during her final round on the par 71, 6,032-yard Caledonia Golf & Fish Club course, tying for fifth place among individuals with a one under par 72-69-71-212.
Alisa Khokhlova tied for 34th place with a 10 over par 73-75-75-223 while fellow freshman Lilia Henkel, who carded the lowest round by a Blue Hen on Tuesday, tied for 40th place with an 11 over par 80-74-70-224. Henkel made five birdies during her final round of the tournament.
Lexi Dart tied for 47th place with a 13 over par 75-73-78-226, while Oihana Etxezarreta tied for 53rd place with a 16 over par 78-78-73-229.
Delaware tied for the lowest team round of the day with a 289 score, finishing sixth out of 20 squads with an 878 three-round total. Campbell captured the team title at 853, while Jacksonville State finished 12 shots back.
The Blue Hens return to the course on Sept. 27-29 when they compete in the Golfweek Conference Challenge in Vail, Colo.
