» No. 17 Delaware opened the season 1-1 last weekend. The Blue Hens blanked No. 18 Old Dominion, 4-0, in the season opener. Delaware fell to No. 8 Virginia, 1-3, just two days later.

» Sophomore Kiki Oudshoorn leads Delaware with two goals, scoring once in each game last weekend. Julia Duffhuis and Grace Hoepfner each have one goal and one assist on the season.

» Head Coach Rolf van de Kerkhof enters his 11th season with Delaware, returning 14 letter winners and welcoming eight newcomers to the program.

» The Blue Hens had three players earn All-CAA Preseason Team honors and fifth-year senior Femke Strien was named CAA Preseason Player of the Year.

» Friday marks the eighth all-time meeting between American and Delaware. The Blue Hens are 7-0 against the Eagles and have kept them to one goal or less in each of the seven meetings.

» Sunday's game against Monmouth marks the eighth all-time meeting between the two teams. Delaware holds a 4-3 record against the Hawks. The Blue Hens dropped the last meeting, 1-2, Sept. 29, 2013.
