Men’s Tennis Preview: Youngstown State

» The Delaware men's tennis team opens the spring season on Friday afternoon when the Blue Hens host Youngstown State. The match will begin at 12 p.m. and take place at the Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington.

» The teams will open with three doubles matches, vying for one team point. After the doubles point is decided, the teams will play six singles matches until one team reaches four points.

» Delaware is coming off of a strong fall season that saw the squad compete in six tournaments. The Blue Hens combined to go 62-29 in singles play, led by a 9-1 record by Alexandre Gluck while James Wilkinson finished with a team-high 10 wins. Luis Molina and Liam Hedlund each went 8-2.

» The Blue & Gold went 24-10 overall in doubles, led by a perfect 5-0 mark from Nicholas Gore and Liam Hedlund. The duo of Gluck and Guilherme Valdoleiros racked up a team-high six victories.
