NEWARK, Del. – The No. 12/11 University of Delaware football team heads back out on the road this weekend for another tough CAA matchup as the Blue Hens take on Elon on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff at Rhodes Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on FloSports.

About the Blue Hens
- Delaware jumped back into the win column last Saturday with a 38-7 victory over Morgan State on Saturday in front of a Homecoming crowd of 16,735 fans at Delaware Stadium.
- The Blue Hens finished with 435 yards of total offense as Nolan Henderson completed 13 passes for 206 yards and a touchdown, while also leading the rushing attack with 65 yards and another score.
- Marcus Yarns had a team-leading 76 receiving yards and added 27 yards on the ground. Brett Buckman caught a team-high four passes for 61 yards.
- The Delaware defense was its normal stellar self, allowing just 158 yards of total offense, including just 27 yards in the second half and 59 total passing yards. UD now leads the country in passing defense, allowing just 117.1 ypg.
- The Blue Hens had three interceptions in the second half – one each by Liam Trainer, Drew Nickles and Nic Ware – while also registering four sacks.
- Henderson has passed for 1,866 yards on the season and a CAA-leading 19 touchdowns.
- Johnny Buchanan leads all of FCS with 86 tackles and 12.3 tackles per game. He has four double-digit tackle performances and holds two of the top-five single-game performances this season with 23 tackles at Navy and 19 at William & Mary.
Scouting Elon
- Elon enters Saturday's contest with a 5-3 overall record and a 3-2 mark in the CAA. The Phoenix have lost their last two games on the road at Rhode Island (17-10) and at New Hampshire (40-22) and have dropped out of the FCS rankings.
- The Phoenix are averaging 26.4 ppg and 409.4 yards of total offense, while the defense is allowing 23.9 ppg and 356.6 ypg.
- Matthew McKay has completed 131-of-219 passes for 1,998 yards and 16 touchdowns with just four interceptions. He also averages 40.5 rushing yards per game and has found the end zone three times.
- Jalen Hampton has rushed for 629 yards and five touchdowns to lead Elon's rushing attack. Bryson Daughtry (33 catches, 661 yards, 5 TDs) and Jackson Parham (34 catches, 498 yards, 4 TDs) lead the receiving corps.
- Marcus Hillman leads Elon with 54.0 total tackles, 9.0 TFL and 3.5 sacks. He has also forced three fumbles as the Phoenix lead the CAA with 14 forced fumbles.

Delaware will return to Delaware Stadium for the final two home games of the regular season. The Blue Hens will host Monmouth on November 5, before Richmond visits Newark on November 12.
