NEWARK, Del. – With every match having postseason implications, the University of Delaware volleyball team returns to campus and will be looking to return to winning ways. The Blue Hens will host UNCW in a CAA weekend series Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday Oct. 30 inside Bob Carpenter Center.

What You Need to Know:
- This will be the 44th meeting between Delaware and UNCW, with the Blue Hens holding the 28-15 all-time record and a 12-6 mark in Newark.
- Looking to bounce back from a three-match skid, Delaware will use the memory of sweeping UNCW on the road a season a go with a four-set win followed by a straight-set victory over the Seahawks (Oct. 9-10)
- The last time Delaware met UNCW in Newark was during the 2019 season where the Blue Hens prevailed in a five-set thriller on Sept. 28.
- The last time the Blue Hens was out was against the lone undefeated team in the conference, Hofstra, last weekend. Delaware suffered back-to-back four set setbacks in Long Island.
- UNCW traveled to Greensboro, N.C. last weekend where they faced North Carolina A&T. The Seahwaks fell in back-to-back five sets to the Aggies, pushing their losing streak to nine matches.
- With two more CAA regular-season series left to play, Delaware is currently slitting in fifth place in league standings.
- The statline at Hofstra (Sunday): Savannah Seemans paced Delaware with a season-high 15 kills to go along with nine digs and three aces. Lani Mason followed with nine kills and 10 digs, stopping her double-digit kill streak at 19 matches. Lily Rogers and Ezgi Basaranlar directed the Blue Hen offense with 21 kills apiece. Kirah Johnson stood tall for Delaware and sent away six attempts.
- Among the national leaders, Mason ranks fourth in kills per set (5.11), sixth in points per set (5.59), eighth in total kills (378), 11th in points (414) and 15th in attacks per set (11.81). Rogers ranks 14th in triple doubles (1).
