Selling Named CAA Women's Swimmer Of The Week

NEWARK, Del. - Mira Selling of the Delaware women's swimming and diving program was named CAA Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 22, 2022 after a record-setting performance at the Bison Invitational over the weekend.

Selling recorded five first-place finishes and set program records in three events to help Delaware finish in third place. She set new program marks in the 200 IM with a time of 1:59.01 and the 400 IM with a time of 4:16.49. Both performances are the fastest in the CAA this season. She was also part of a record-setting effort in the 400 medley relay (3:41.34). In addition, Selling finished first in the 100 free (50.32) and 200 free (1:47.93) with times that rank in the top four in the conference. Additionally, she placed second in the 200 IM and 200 medley relay, and third in the 400 free relay. This is Selling's sixth career Swimmer of the Week honor, having also been named on, Oct. 11, 2022, Feb. 24, 2021, Nov. 9, 2021, Nov. 16, 2021, and Feb. 8, 2022.

Delaware will next compete at the U.S. Open from Nov. 30-Dec 3 and against West Chester on Dec. 2.
