Pastris Named CAA Rookie Diver of the Month

NEWARK, Del. - Alex Pastris of Delaware's women's swimming and diving team has been named CAA Rookie of the Month, the conference announced on Nov. 8, 2022.

Pastris finished no worse than third in the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions during her first two collegiate meets. She posted an NCAA Zone cut score of 269.33 on the 1-meter board against Yale and compiled a score of 265.73 against Yale on the 3-meter board. She was also named CAA Diver of the Week on Oct. 25.

Pastris followed up her first full collegiate month by beginning November with another Diver of the Week honor after she placed first on the 1-meter board and third in the 3-meter competition in Delaware victories against James Madison and Willian & Mary. She improved on her NCAA Zone cut score on the 1-meter board with a personal best 286.65 points and also set a new personal best on the 3-meter board with a score of 279.30.
