Servas Earns Back-to-Back Weekly CAA Honors

RICHMOND, Va. - Julia Servas earned her second-straight CAA Diver of the Week award and third of the season announced by the conference office Tuesday.Â
The Darien, Conn., native set a new personal best with a score of 280.05 in the 1-meter competition to take first place against CAA rival, Towson. On the 3-meter board, the sophomore compiled a score of 264.53 to finish third.
Last week Servas swept both boards in Delaware's 193-106 victory over West Chester, earning her second weekly honor of the season. She recorded a winning score of 275.48 in the 3-meter competition and also placed first in the 1-meter competition with a score of 275.48, which qualified her for the NCAA Zone meet.
The Blue Hens are back in action Saturday, hosting the Last Chance Meet beginning at 11 a.m., before hitting the road for the CAA Championships in Christiansburg, Va., starting Feb. 16.Â
