Blue Hens Lead Field After Opening Round of Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational

EATONTON, Ga. – Delaware leads the 14-team field after carding a 295 score as the Blue Hens opened their 2022 spring season on Friday at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational.
East Tennessee State and Chattonooga are tied for second place with 297 scores, while Tulane sits in fourth place at 298.
Senior Anna Kittelson carded her lowest round as a Blue Hen with a two under par 70 on the par 72, 6,001-yard Great Waters course to end the day in second place among individuals. Kittelson fired four birdies on Friday while making just two bogeys, and trails tournament leader Mindy Herrick of North Florida by one shot.
Lilia Henkel, who finished the day with five birdies, sits in fourth place with an even par 72 while Oihana Etxezarreta carded a four over par 76 to end the day in a tie for 28th place.
Alisa Khokhlova is tied for 36th place with a five over par 77, while Christina Carroll and Lexi Dart are each tied for 43rd place with six over par 78 scores.
The second round of the three-day tournament will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
