STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The University of Delaware men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to a tough Penn State squad on Sunday afternoon. With the setback, the Blue Hens slip to 2-4 on the season.

After the Nittany Lions swept the doubles point, James Wilkinson pulled UD even with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles. However, that is as close as the Blue & Gold would get as Penn State won the final five matches. Alexandre Gluck took his opponent to a third set, but ultimately fell 5-7, 6-3, 6-0.

The Blue Hens will be back in action next weekend when they return home for a pair of dual matches. Delaware will host Richmond on Friday afternoon in a 12 p.m. match at the Delcastle Tennis Center before taking on Bucknell on Sunday at 12 p.m. at Elkton Indoor Tennis.
